【摘要】:Theevaluationoftheimpactsound-insulatingperformanceofafloor-ceilingassemblybeginswiththemeasurementofthesoundpressurelevelsintheroombelowthetestspecimen.Thespectrumofthenoiseintheroombelowisdeterminedbythefollowing:5.1.1Thesizeandthemechanicalpropertiesofthefloor-ceilingassembly,suchasitsconstruction,surface,mountingoredgerestraints,stiffness,orinternaldamping,5.1.2Theacousticalresponseoftheroombelow,and5.1.3Inevitably,thecharacteristicsandplacementoftheobjectordeviceproducingtheimpactsandthenatureordegreeoftheactualimpactitself.Thistestmethodisbasedontheuseofastandardizedtappingmachineofthetypespecifiedin8.1.1andplacedinspecificpositionsonthefloor.Thismachineproducesacontinuousseriesofuniformimpactsatauniformrateonatestfloorandgeneratesinthereceivingroombroadbandsoundpressurelevelssufficientlyhightomakeaccurateandreproduciblemeasurementspossible.Thetappingmachineitself,however,isnotdesignedtosimulateanyonetypeofimpact,suchasproducedbymaleorfemalefootsteps.Note18212;Caution:Becauseofitsportabledesign,thetappingmachinedoesnotsimulatetheweightofahumanwalker.Therefore,thecreakorboomofalimberfloorassemblycausedbysuchfootstepexcitationmaynotbereflectedinthesinglenumberimpactratingderivedfromtestresultsobtainedbythistestmethod.Thedegreeofcorrelationbetweentheresultsoftappingmachinetestsinthelaboratoryandtheoverallfieldperformanceoffloorsundertypicalconditionsofdomesticimpactexcitationmaybesubjecttosomevariation,dependingonboththetypeoffloorconstructionandthenatureoftheimpactexcitation.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthelaboratorymeasurementofimpactsoundtransmissionoffloor-ceilingassembliesusingastandardizedtappingmachine.Itisassumedthatthetestspecimenconstitutestheprimarysoundtransmissionpathintoareceivingroomlocateddirectlybelowandthatadiffusesoundfieldexistsinthisroom.1.2Measurementsmaybeconductedonfloor-ceilingassembliesofallkinds,includingthosewithfloating-floororsuspendedceilingelements,orboth,andfloor-ceilingassembliessurfacedwithanytypeoffloor-surfacingorfloor-coveringmaterials.1.3Thistestmethodprescribesauniformprocedureforreportinglaboratorytestdata,thatis,thenormalizedone-thirdoctavebandsoundpressurelevelstransmittedbythefloor-ceilingassemblyduetothetappingmachine.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
