【摘要】:ThispartofEN868providestestmethodsandvaluesformaterialsforsterilebarriersystemsand/orpackagingsystemsthatareintendedtomaintainsterilityofterminallysterilizedmedicaldevicestothepointofuse.NOTE1Theneedforaprotectivepackagingmaybedeterminedbythemanufacturerandtheuser.ThispartofEN868onlyintroducesperformancerequirementsandtestmethodsthatarespecifictotheproductscoveredbythispartofEN868butdoesnotaddormodifythegeneralrequirementsspecifiedinENISO11607-1.Assuch,theparticularrequirementsin4.2canbeusedtodemonstratecompliancewithoneormorebutnotalloftherequirementsofENISO11607-1.NOTE2Whenadditionalmaterialsareusedinsidethesterilebarriersysteminordertoeasetheorganization,dryingorasepticpresentation(e.g.innerwrap,containerfilter,indicators,packinglists,mats,instrumentorganizersets,traylinersoranadditionalenvelopearoundthemedicaldevice)thenotherrequirements,includingthedeterminationoftheacceptabilityofthesematerialsduringvalidationactivities,mayapply.Thematerialsspecifiedin4.2.2.1to4.2.2.3ofthispartofEN868areintendedforsingleuse,thematerialsspecifiedin4.2.2.4areintendedforreuse.NOTE3Iftheintendedpurposeaccordingtothemanufacturerofthematerialforsterilebarriersystemspecifiestheuseassterilefield,thentheadditionalrequirementsoftheEN13795seriesapply.
